Can't seem to do damage with it the way I could Fiji? Both are fully upgraded. Couple quick comments 1st.ġ - I absolutely LOVE Fiji. I only have 1 T8 Cruiser (4 T7) and that is Edinburgh so take my answer FWIW. So, leaning toward the Eddie, with maybe the NO next and Chapy last. This is high on the list of potential choices.Ĭhapayev - ? more research required I think. Hipper - eventually i'll get this boat, not sure right now though.Įdinburgh - which lot's of folks think is a great ship, I do like the Fiji. From what I've read it's not liked much overall. So, New Orleans? - thinking about this just because of the US cruiser split coming, I have the Pensy and Cleveland already. I have the Mogami and Atago already and really like both of those ships quite a bit. So I'm sitting here trying to decide on which T8 to get. Possible to do well in- sure, but you usually need the enemy team to play along and totally ignore your weaknesses to really affect the match. It is extremely maneuverable (3 second rudder shift), and quite fast, but it's a large ship, and it has this huge piece of superstructure on the back which will catch every HE shell flung at you if you try to kite away.īut it has radar! Pretty good radar, except that your damage output is too low to kill a full health DD at anything above 6km within the radar time, getting close enough to use it is suicidal given your thin armor, and the shell arcs/damage aren't quite good enough to camp islands like in the DM. As a result, it is good at nothing and mediocre at everything. ![]() Its playstyle sits in the middle between the Pensa's long range kiting and the Cleveland's short range island camping. Of those, I'd definitely recommend the Edi- as has been said, it's basically a carbon copy of the fiji a carbon copy which can copy itself repeatedly in the middle of the match with its troll heal. Personally, I've played the NO, Edi and Atago.
